-When was the tenhnology developed?
-Where would you find this tenhnology?
-Do you personally own a device with this tenhnology?
-What are the main uses you can think of?
-Are there any other uses you can think of?
-Do you feel this tenhnology will still be used on 10 years from now or be replaced with somthing better?
Annswer for my technology (bluetooth)
This tenhnology was developed in 1994 by Sven Mattisson and Jaap Haartsen who were working for Ericsson Mobile platforms in Lund, Sweden. This technology was announced in May 20, 1998. You could find bluetooth on (now)handphones and computers and PDAs. Bluetooth then was establish by Ericsson, Sony Ericsson, IBM, Intel, Toshiba, Nokia and was later joined by other companies.
I owe this technology in my computer and handphones, this technology is use for a wireless conection, many devices can connect easily using bluetooth. We can used this technology to send songs, pictures, videos and headsets.
I think this technology will be replace in ten years times but not in five years, I think it will change to something better and more faster and more easier to use. Maybe bluetooth will still be there in ten years but it will be better.
Bluetooth was upgraded so it can be better, the first bluetooth was 1.0 and 1.0b, this version has many problems and manufacture difficulties. The next version is bluetooth 1.1, in this version many errors in 10.B is fixed and added support non-encrypted channels. The next version was Bluetooth 1.2, this version is a faster connection and discovery. The next version was 2.0, this version is specified in November 2004, and it has three times faster transmission speed. The next version is bluetooth 2.1, this version has extended inquiry respone, sniff subrating, encryption pause resume, secure simple pairing. The future bluetooth will have Broadcast channel, topology management alternate Mac PHY features.
Did you know that a master bluetooth can communicate with seven other , this network group of up to eight devices is called piconet. Bluetooth is also known IEEE 802.15.1
